This site has been going on down hill through the years. Its not getting any better. I have been a payed member for ages now yet still have a gold membership.

Is this site going to make it? I don't think so. All of the older member has already left and move on to other more reliable sites.

That I doubt, as access to the mass of non-paying members (especially female ones) is the main selling point for signing up for a membership. If you take the standard members out of the equation, the pickings would be even more slim than they already are.

They are competing with free (Facebook, Craigslist, etc) and not doing well. I am surprised that any non free sites are still up. IM (or chat) is the only way you actually meet with people. If that does not work the site does not work. It is great to have a site where people are into kink and anonymous but without IM it is not really a site. I assume when the money got tight they did things that caused the good IT people to leave and those left do not have the means or knowledge. A good site would have had an explanation to all members by now.

I am long time developer of not dissimilar sites... and believe me this is no easy choice for the owner. He will need to invest a few thousand to get the site in shape, and thats a lot of fuel for his Cammaro!
The code itself will be over 10yrs old and as most owners will tell you - why re-invent the wheel. Pity is the road has changed and grass has grown around the wheels of this vehicle; and knowledgeable coders of a site this old have retired - lol... making it all the more difficult for the poor owner.
Cut to the chase - a week is long enough for this revision/mod/hack/upgrade... each day after is a direct reflection on the owners commitment to the community he has built.
I wait with baited breath!

Let's hope they can get the site working again. Over the years, I've been fortunate to make several personal acquaintances from this site, and have enjoyed meeting local, area people in the lifestyle.

just a fair warning as I have heard many having this issue. If you paid your membership with your credit card, make sure you either delete the info before your renewal date.or change the info so it cannot be processed. The cheeky monkeys that run this site have been known to charge people even though they selected not to be renewed automatically.
