12 driven...

Does a mom-non-powered scooter count? Then one for that.... and that was the only thing I ever crashed (crosses self )~ and I mean ass over tea-kettle a flat out hit the pavement scraping both palms and knees in the process.... should have been recorded, title when 'mom goes way stupid

Though they may never make onto pimp my ride, Mom powered scooters definitely count!

Especially when you throw in a triple axle with a full gainer as a sideshow

What fabulous memories to have! Im a bit jealous Im almost ashamed to say. Maybe cuz its been years since Ive driven anything 5 ton.

Hon, I am so glad you saved the pig for last or Id have never made it through the rest of your amazing list!

Really?!?! LMAO A pig? Now that's brave ( or kinda nuts ) Ouch indeed.

That is a very impressive list and honestly, from what Ive read and seen of you so far, you being you, Im not a bit surprised at the diversity.

I saw the camel pic on your profile and had to laugh and wonder....how the heck do you get up there?!?! Not that I ever will do such a thing. NO CAMELS for me as I have dromedary issues and they just have these, these, these griiiiiiiinsssss

The trucks & bikes though...? NOW were talkin.

Thank you so much for coming to visit and leaving such great answers.

Still a smudge jealous, I am, but happy that you've had such a variety.

Honestly no way would I expect someone who travels a lot, was military or govt stationed and rents or requisitions(?) vehicles or has done mechanical work for a living to ever be able to come close to being able to say for sure any number.

You'd look so adorable driving a bus with that big ol grin of yours just a flashin!

Lol wanna do the Santa express on the valley line this Christmas and see if they'll let you drive?

Id so go. You're on your own with the plane though

I have to wonder what prompted this question. And since I don't want to risk a trip over Ms. Cuzi's knee, I'll answer straightforwardly...

Owned at one time or another
11 cars/vans/pickup trucks
2 motorcycles
1 fishing boat
1 pontoon boat
4 canoes
2 kayaks
1 small sailboat
3 bicycles
1 skateboard
2 riding lawnmowers

Driven?
Much more difficult to remember...all 28 of the above plus another 30 to 40 vehicles that were borrowed, rented, or provided by employers...I've even flown a few small airplanes...never had my license, but my dad did, and he let me do everything but land and take off.

Are you sure you're ready to catch a glimpse of how differently my mind works?

Ill probably post the why in a week or two. If i forget....remind me?

Wow, you too have had an awesome variety of vehicles, hon. I had no idea just how much boys loving their toys could spread. Amazing!

Will you take it personally if i say that I almost put a dibs disclaimer in the post saying itemized lists and exact #'s we're not necessary?

Failed my driving test 4 times so I have never driven a car.

I do have a (now vintage) Marin Mountain Bike (Bear Valley). It weighs about as much as a car.

Mostly I rely on the kindness of friends or family or I walk/get public transport. Luckily in Sydney that works more often than not.

Not everyone drives, especially those in densely populated areas where it makes no sense to do so, so I tried to throw in enough examples so even non automobile drivers could chime in.

Thank you for doing so, lovely one.

Is "vehicles" metaphoric for woman, women, or females?

If not, then...I have owned eight cars and have driven maybe 80-100. That being said, nothing beat the Old Rusty Red truck that looked exactly like the Sanford & Song Truck...I was only 16.

One of these days, drifter. To da moon!.....woosh

While I am all about a nice smooth ride, I would never ever refer to myself or my sisters in estrogen as vehicles! The names given to men and their purpose however....

Awwww I would be totally pimpin in a Sanford mobile, faded or not lol, so I hope you did too. I loved those old 50 style trucks with the bubble fronts. Thats the reason I love the newer(yeah restyled in 1996 so maybe not so new anymore, huh?) RAM trucks so much. They brought back that style.

Owned
1 tricycle, 4 bicycles, 0 unicycles, 2 skateboards, 11 cars.

Driven
Multitudes, due to various jobs I've had in construction, landscaping, roofing and vehicle repair, including 1 tractor, several 5 ton flatbed dumps (including a first day on the job one with failing brakes and a tar kettle attached to the back - blew through a red almost into the back of an NC logging truck full of pine logs within the first few minutes of that job!), pickups (including 1 with 3 on the tree manual shift - LO, a number of box trucks, an old true dump truck with a low/low gear your could outwalk, various SUVs, trucks, cars & muscle and sports cars.
One of my fondest memories was when a lovely Hawaiian lady I worked with (that had hair to below her knees) had gotten a present from her husband in the form of a Triumph TR6. I had dropped by the 7-11 to pick up my paycheck and she was on shift. She threw me the keys and told me to take it out for a good test drive and tell her how she was going to like it. I returned with a nice smile on my face & she said "Oh, I'm gonna LOVE it!". I know I did.

Driven that's a silly number, am guessing a random 93.

The opinions and understanding portrayed in my blog are mainly unfounded, misguided or wrong.

Wow, someone just gave you their keys to a car like that. Ok, I know Id easily hand over my keys to you cuz you just that kind of guy, but still, lol I dont think Id let anyone drive my new car.

You have driven a lot of vehicles too. I think guys that can and do tinker on their stuff have higher #'s of owned vehicles too. They can do beaters and used vehicles etc without the worry that someone like me would have.
