Interview went very well. Since I wasn't applying for a corp-job, and the manager was pierced and had purple hair, I went in as real as I could be. I would have intimidated her if I'd done it any other way, and she was "one of my own"; fifteen piercings in her ears and face and big stompy boots. We dug each other immediately, and I'm definitely in the running for the second interview, which should be some time next week. The only downer was the first month of hours will be so long I have to call in some help from a friend of mine to watch my son at night. I'll hardly ever see my wee manny for the first month. That sucks. But it could be much worse for me and things will even off after that month is up. Suddenly my blog has become very boring and unsexy. Afraid so, sorry, kink is the furthest thing on my mind right now. Sorry to disappoint! |

Fuck kink, you've got yet another project on the horizon, it sounds like lush presents are going to be de rigeuer in the near future. Wonderful news that it went so well and they are the type of people you could work with. Congratulations on the first hurdle. Countdown to your tattoo starts here

Not to jump the gun, but it sounds like you've definitely scored one there. I've had a lot of successful interviews, but the feedback on every single one was that it wasn't my skills which got me the job - it was the whole "rapport" thing. Nobody wants to work with an asshole who's good at their job... Good luck, and don't worry too much about the sproglet - if my previous experience of rugrats is anything to go by, he'll enjoy the freedom to be gained by wrapping the minder round his little finger _________________________________ "Shun-SHENG duh gao-WAHN." - Mal
