Thanks for the notes in my blog. I was once about a meter away from Mark Mothersbaugh singing the best part of Satisfaction (baby-baby- baby-baby-baby-baby-baby-baby-baby-baby- baby-baby-baby-baby-baby- ) and I'll never forget singing along with him. Legions of rubber clad Germans, all moving in lockstep as one, changing out the light bulbs at Chez Venus with new energy efficient CFL's.... Now, that's a movie I'd pay to see, and I caught John Waters on the tube the other night and he's looking for work! We laughed, we cried, it's the feel good hit of the summer! Audiences raved! How many lesbians does it take to change a light-bulb? All of them want to do it, cos it's a Man's job. How many government officials does it take to change a light-bulb? Too many. A committee is set up to source the light bulb, an environmental study committee is set up to research the affects of light bulb changing. A work committee is set up to tender the job. An OH and S committee is set up to identify potential hazards. A minister is appointed to oversee the committees. A personal assistant is assigned to the minister with a secretary for both. And a government department is set up to complete the paper work. How many supermarket employees does it take to change a light-bulb? None, it's not part of their job description.
