What a week

Monday I woke up with a pinched nerve in my left shoulder. I still went to work, but the pain is still there today(Thursday. Tuesday, my wife's boyfriend finally was released from CMMC, but was transported to River Ridge rehab in Kennebunk. His physical treatment is done, but his brain injury caused by the heart attack still needs treatment. Wednesday, my brother and his wife were over to take their cat back. we had been taking care of him because they were still living with my folks, and Mom is allergic to cats. They finally got a place about 2 or 3 blocks away. This morning, while I was getting my sons clothes out for school, I noticed his guinea pig wasn't moving. He had died in the night. We kept my son home from school so he and my wife could take Corey to the vet to be cremated, and to the pet store to buy a new one. Corey was about 7 and a half, which for a guinea pig is down right ancient. Lets hope that nothing dramatic happens tomorrow. I don't think I could take it! |
