He wiped the blood droplets from my teats and then squeezed the plastic tubes onto the teats. He was checking that my teats had the proper ability to swell when suctioned. While my teats were being pulled and stretched in the tubes, the Vet walked around to the back end of me and inserted a thermometer into my rectum.
