Kudos for making pizza dough from scratch, I'm curious how it turned out. I'll trade you a foot massage for a home made pizza.

You do it because you love your friends and you show it by making great food. You do it because it is a challenge to make it and on top of it all its give you satisfaction for a job well done. You do it because your not willing to settle for Domino's or whoever make mediocre products. You do it because they are more likely to dine and dash if it is the take out stuff.

Now you have me thinking how I am going to make a wood fired pizza with the following toppings;

Garlic white sauce base.
Sage rubbed roasted chicken.
Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheese.
Fresh Spinach.
Capillini Onion.
Fresh raspberries and some homemade raspberry vinegarett splashed on just before serving,

I DO hope none of them bring a child or two, even out of necessity.
Often you mention "pizza" and some people will figure that means kids' food. BTW, what wines are being served? A Garnacha or Pinot Grigio might go well! How about bacon-wrapped dates for an appetizer?

I wish I had a wood fired oven. But I woudl make that pizza in a regular one, but it woudl not have that added smoky flavor.

Roasted peppers, caramelized onion and such is wonderful.
