An acoustophile becomes aroused by sounds. Sounds preferred may be in the form of music, song, love poems, verbal abuse, sexual commands, and comments in a foreign language. Screaming,panting, moaning, groaning, sighing, heavy breathing as well as any other natural sound made during sex. Group sex is often enjoyable to many because of the variety of sounds heard in close proximity. Many people believe in mood music, with a wide variety of preferences and genres to suit every taste. The volume of music (especially high decibel music) can cause a high as the peripheral nervous system is stimulated by sound waves. It is theorized that this switches on the bodys flight or fight mechanism, causing a rush of adrenalin.
