Put Your Collar on NOW!

Dirty from working outside, I was walking into the house heading towards the bathroom to wash up when the words rang out.

“Put on your collar”.

Even and stern. I had taken it off so it wouldn’t get caught and it does get uncomfortable when working up a sweat. Embarrassed at my discretion being found, I took the collar out of my pocket and draped it over the back of my neck. Holding up my dirty hands to convey that I needed to wash up, I again started towards the bathroom.

“Put on your collar, NOW!”

The stern order made my knees weaken as the realization that I was in trouble set in. How long had I been watched with it off? I buckled the collar tight with my dirty, shaking hands as ordered when a length of chain with a leather handle landed at my feet.

“Kneel and attach the leash, NOW”.

I kneeled and attached the leash to the ring on the collar as ordered and waited for the next instruction. My stomach was rolling as I remained kneeling and looking down. The steps around me were loud and deliberate, then a yank on the chain snapped me to attention.

“I am very disappointed to see you without your collar without permission. Obviously some corrective training is in order. First off, I will decide how and when you will be cleaned up …. and prepared.”

A yank of the chain led me in a crawl to the bathroom, leash tight and short every inch of the way. My mind raced at what the penalty would be, and my body shook while realizing that in the past I had yet to be even close to imagining what an actual corrective session would entail. I was in trouble …. Big trouble!

yes, some are but slow going and many to go. Wish I was closer to you as I have a hunch the process would be sped up greatly!
