Back in the day.....well, many moons ago, t'was a kick-ass thread about how the hell we all came up with our handles. Now, som'ya olde tymers might remember the stories we got, and I was pining for those days when we could read everyone's blogs on a daily basis. I see so many new faces...and I have lots of new friends... I'd LOVE to see people share the origins of their names... Mine? Not all that obscure. I have, since childhood, been fascinated with the worship of goddesses, and how even the goddesses of destruction and death have their place in this eternal cycle. And.....plus.... I am tired of goddess energy being the realm of dominance. We who submit have our place in the sky, no? So....what means your name to you?  Mollena

I do medieval re-enactment. My persona there is Scottish. In English, Molly MacKinnon. In Scots gaelic, Maili nic Fhionghuin. For simplification, MollyMac. More practical than interesting, I suppose. But I love anything and everything Scottish or dealing with Scotland. Always have been. A Scottish brogue makes me quiver and melt. My one great desire/fantasy in this lifetime is to visit Scotland. I first got online using the screen name of RustyFarmer many years ago. A sub I trusted told me that nobody used their real names online and that I needed a screen name. I told her to name me and she came up UTMaster because of my two passions; UT Football (University of Tennessee, not Texas) and submissive women. So I have been some variation of UTMaster online ever since. If I had it to do all over again I would have never taken a screen name and continued to use my real name. I don't hide who and what I am and would find it much less confusing to only have one name to answer to. But now that I've been UTMaster since the '80's I'm kinda stuck with it.

Mine comes from the complete lack of preparation and imagination displayed by me when I first made my Alt account. I signed up sort of spur o' the moment at a friend's suggestion and panic seized me when I was prompted to choose a handle. I froze...I couldn't come up with anything witty or creative on the spot so I went with straitforward descriptive. Location and preferred role right there in a neat little package. I wanted to use something else but it was taken. So I asked two friends of mine "How do I come off to others when we go out" They said I was Mysterious and a Challenge. I said sooooo Silent and Unapproachable great! They said "No, your like a goddess, a dangerous, mysterious Goddess." That was to much so... Mystic Temptress. Ally has always been my "nom de plume". It was bestowed on me by a 5th grade teacher. Incorporating a waterfall in my name makes me feel beautiful. And 6 is an important number to me.

I've always identified with blue... the deepest darkest blue there is... To me blue is happy, calm, clear, the color of knowing, seeing... deepbluenothing makes me think of endless possibilities... a swirling void where you jump off into... who knows what...

Glad you posted this DG, looks like a lot of fun. J is the first letter in my name. And biglord, comes due to a friend of mine and football. I hit him in a practice one day and he said good lord, your a big [expletive]. And every since then it has stuck as an appropriate nickname. Upon discovering bdsm, the name seemed appropriate considering all the Masters and Doms I saw listed. think I have shared mine before'...I just went with what they call me'..lol..I have 6 older brothers'..thus she the baby' became shebaby'...over time'...my older sister used' to just call me'...baby'...or baby girl'...for years'..n' years'...anyhows' since her death is still so' painful' n' recent I seem to tear' up when anyone' calls' me baby'..although it soothes' me also'...strange'..so'...I was thinkin' I should have come up with something exotic' or'..fancy'..but, went with just plain ol me'...shebaby'...lol...

I guess I am a little slow at getting mine up here. I do remember posting this before and it is always great fun reading everyone elses "story behind the name." For me the nick comes from two places. One I have hazel eyes that are mostly green and two my old webcam used to come across with this funky hazed green look to it. No matter what I did I couldn't get rid of it. Sad thing is I have never had a nickname in my life... ~R bite me... I like it.
