Now, if I were ACTUALLY cleaning, I'd have license to remove the Pathetic Bitch sticker from my forehead.

But, OK, yeah, I still have that "Friday night and I should be doing something” which is ridiculous, because this has been a long and bloody week (period of doom, anyone?) I did have a rocking dinner on Wednesday with my friend Keith. I broke his Tapas cherry.

And, it isn't as though I haven't done anything. I did get started on cleaning...I have SO much recycling to do it ain't funny.

I have also done some researching items I'll need for my trip. In retrospect, I am kind of glad I've stayed in a Hostel during that miserable trip back home a few years back. I now know that there are things ya NEED when traveling like that.

~ Those quick dry underwear (just ordered 2 pairs)
~ A lock
~ slippers
~ Satin sleep sack (found 'em hella cheap on e-bay)
~ Something comfy to sleep in (got some on-sale silk thermal stuff, perrrrrfik!)
~ A well-organised toiletry case (still looking for one of those)
~ EARPLUGS!(got high tech pluggies)
~ EYE SHADES!!(still lookin'; as a lens wearer, I need ones that have space to leave the eyelids free)

I've also scrounged some awesome bargains on travel stuff, like a good backpack (I sought all over the %$$#@ 'net for one with a detachable day pack that wasn't gonna cost an arm and leg, finally found one on sale...yay!). It has a special line for a camelpack with a tube that runs up the strap and allows you to hydrate while hiking about.

Hydrate my ASS.

I'm filling that puppy up with cheap local booze.

OK, so one of the sites I just ordered from (while they DO have cheap travel stuff....really reasonable...) but they are all preachifying jesus and crew on their site too. I mean, your religion is fine, but when I am shopping for travel panties with quick-dry wicking action, I don't want that, you know.

But I got them back.

I used the e-mail address that has kiss-my-big-black-ass as its center.

I hope they drop into a prayer circle on the spot when my order gets pulled.

Prince just came on the radio. There's this kick ass new station that is basically the radio equivalent of putting all the pop music from the past 40 years into an i-pod shuffle and letting it run. They guarantee 24-hour no repeat, and I think they could probably go for a week if they tried.

What happened to Prince...he user to be so...so... so totally kick ass.

OK, Kung-Fu Fighting just came on!!!!!! I love this station.

OK, gotta run....Khloe_p and are on yahoo chat...gossip time!

hah...I Want Candy just came on the radio....last time I heard that was me singing it in out production of Charles Mee's version of Trojan Women. I played Helen. She wasn't nice.

You know, diva, I COULD use some help...I seem to have a frogging mental block when it comes to grokking the EurRail Pass system...I kind of get you buy a pass, then have a certain number of days to travel, but then you have to buy more passes to get on the train, or make reservations, and some types of passes aren't good everywhere....if you have any way to clue me in, that would be great. The sites where you can buy the tickets are not really explicit in how you are supposed to use 'em! You know how sometimes other people explainig it can help? Maybe this will help

And if you come across a good kit like the one TCGuy (thanks, dude!!) recommends, I'd love to get a cheapo bargain. Keeping in mind I've got glasses contacts, lens solution to carry with.

Yay! This is so cool!

Dude!! I SO bought a bunch of stuff on the campmor site (got a $200 knapsack for $99, and a few of the silk thermal stuff on sale...I am still waffling on shoes, but I did note their awesome sales)!!!

Thanks for the tip on the other bags...I'm going to check them out. I probably would go for the bigger bag: although I don't have to deal with hairdryers and curling irons, I do have to have serious eyeball stuff.

Whee!
