You know it...you love it...and I'm sure you'll be sorry to learn that, after expressing...strongly...my "Reservations and Concerns" about that particular gambit and forwarding your complaints, Management will be pulling the GET LAID GUARANTEE! campaign. [fanfare] It might take a while for the change to propagate across all of the servers but it should be totally gone by the next code release, and that is next Tuesday. Indeed, despite the initial spike in traffic that made me look like I didn't know what I was talking about, there was an immediate inverse effect. SO, there you have it. It might linger a bit because updates take for freakin' ever but it will be gone soon.  Mollena

yippee! thanks for anything you did to get rid of that trashy banner.  a much worse problem, at least for me, is that they haven't fixed the code so that the number by the word "posts", under each of our photos when we respond still just takes you to a white screen and not that person's whole list of posts. this is how i kept track of conversations i was having with people via comments and replies. it's how i found a lot of the bloggers i watch, by finding more of their comments and posts and deciding i really liked what i read. to be clear, on any blog post where there are comments, each comment has the person's profile pic there. under that pic is the number of posts that person has made. clicking on that number had always taken us to the entire list of all of their comments, in order. alt lost a lot when that function failed. please urge them to fix this. it's been a long, long while now - well over a month, at least. thanks for all you do for us here in alt, mollena. xoxox
