Sometimes Music soothes the savage breast…or simply provides an emotional shunt through which we can drain the painful buildup of sorrow…

In this instance, the artist is “Zero 7”

If you search on Amazon dot com, for this artist, under free downloads, you will find one of the most gorgeously heart-wrenchingly beautiful songs of longing ever written. The title is “Destiny: and I’ll print the lyrics here. You can download the song from Amazon for free…and for those of us either pining for someone who is far away or for someone who has not crossed our path as of this point in space-time…it might provide some bittersweet comfort…

I lie awake
I’ve gone to ground
I’m watching porn
In my hotel dressing gown
Now I dream of you
But I still believe
There’s only enough for one in this
Lonely hotel suite

The journey’s long
And it feels so bad
I’m thinking back to the last day we had
Old moon fades into the new
Soon I know I’ll be back with you
I’m nearly with you
I’m nearly with you

When I’m weak I draw strength from you
And when you’re lost I know how to change your mood
And when I’m down you breathe life over me
Even though we’re miles apart we are each other’s destiny

On a clear day
I’ll fly home to you
I’m bending time getting back to you
Old moon fades into the new
Soon I know I’ll be back with you
I’m nearly with you
I’m nearly with you

When I’m weak I draw strength from you
And when you’re lost I know how to change your mood
And when I’m down you breathe life over me
Even though we’re miles apart we are each other’s destiny

When I’m weak I draw strength from you
And when you’re lost I know how to change your mood
And when I’m down you breathe life over me
Even though we’re miles apart we are each other’s destiny

I’ll fly, I’ll fly home
I’ll fly home and I’ll fly home

Sleep well...I hope that your Destiny is close at hand...

Interesting, the power of music. You have the moxie to *find out the title and the artist*. I wander around hearing these sublime things and have *no clue*. "Gosh," I think: "maybe I'll hear it *again* and jot down the...."
Yeah right. Lol.

Zero 7 is a good group..they should be coming more into the public eye since they have a song on the "Garden State" movie soundtrack. It might be a little slow, but hopefully it will push them into the limelight like Switchfoot who rode the back of the "A Walk to Rememeber" movie soundtrack.
