Of course he bloody misses you! Be an idiot not to. Mind you he is a big numpty for realising It sooner Roni. Most love starts to wither when it is not watered and tended. In your case you kept that live and lust alive unilaterally. That's a selfmade void he is suffering from though like you I don't think it is suffering, it is just bashed self-esteem.. What did he think? That you'd stay forever no matter how much he ignored your emotions? Serves him right if he misses you now. He could have noticed much earlier that something went terribly wrong. I agree with Sarah! Sometimes people don't realize what they had until it's gone. Clearly he has chosen this path of suffering. All you can do is wish him well (when you are done laughing).

I agree with the posters above and really hope you did offend him, though I suspect his pride took a little hit too. Luv, he was so very lucky to have you and that you were willing to honestly and honorably continue with your contract despite the *other* and her issues that he essentially let happen, and fostered in some way, I suspect. I'm glad you laughed and I am glad you are able to take from the relationship what you needed and move on. Really, if someone means a great deal to you, you need to let them know and make sure they know it without a doubt.   Ars longa, vita brevis - Art is long, life is short

I'm sure he does feel like he is suffering ...but you suffer the consequences of your actions most of all. Best of it is that you are not suffering and have found yourself fulfilled. Glad for you!
