I began here with just a one-dimensional persona focused on things I cannot discuss elsewhere and not revealing much about any other aspect of myself for fear of being "outed". Well I got outed anyway and am exploring how transparent I want to be here. I tried making my blog "friends only" but didn't like that. For now I am just making certain posts "friends only". I have revealed my more deviant thoughts to some in my life and yes, my blog does influence this, but I also maintain a very serious professional and vanilla persona with friends and colleagues. For years I kept it all in my head and blog and chatrooms. Well, things have changed dramatically recently and I am working on integrating those parts of myself and becoming one. Good question, as usual!

Good question Wicked

Over time I have felt that blogging has opened me up some. I too wrote for only me, mostly because I didn't realize others might read it nor collect any connection to it.
I see now I write with (a bit of silliness) which is r/t me. I think the blogger me has caught up with the r/t me sorta speak.

Of course with anything remotely intimate I do tend to share more here with the eyes of strangers, then I would discuss with people in my own personal circle...
