And I have been thinking about your last post.

Not too sure I was keen on your colleague's closing but I guess I wanted to think on it a bit more to be sure.

Hard choice. You might have to flip a coin.

Hard to give up on a project, you woudl love to see carried through to the end. Hard to pass up on a dream. Life is full of hard choices.

In my early 20's, I would have gone with the dream, despite the lack of pay. I did not own anything or have obligations. Life changes how we see our dreams.

You never know what will come of things if you change horses in mid stream. perhaps your passion will still be able to drive both situations. Consultant on the first one? Maybe you will find some one who shares your passion on the current situation. The payoff on the dream job, may be down the line.

If all else fails, flip a coin.

Sometimes, we work jobs or have careers that are fulfilling, but they are not our life's work. And if this other job is exactly that and you can handle the changes, then no further discussion.

It's about happiness.

Notted brim belly? Well THAT certainly explains your mildly concerning previous title. Im still kinda on the ewwww fence there.

It is peak lighting bug season right now. I counted 47 tonight as I was sitting out there.

Know what? It is impossible to make a wrong decision when even insect asses are shining and lighting the way.

On a more practical front... What does Jones say? Animals are so much more reasonable about this whole 'living life' thing.

I am reminded yet again, why there is no "Career Corner with Cuz" column in the NY Times.

I stand by my answer all the same.

3rd from the left. You have very distinctive legs.

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black

I'm thinking the black top/white bottom is the Brim belly and I get the reasoning as to why you wont say and I get it totally.

Self included would have untagged myself from the pic, although knowing that people that know me, know what I look like and certainly what kind of shape I have or don't have that's ideal.. What's ideal? *laughs*. Ive untangled myself when daughter tags me in FB pics too...' mom, they know you, what's the difference? '. spoken as Pee wee Herman....'I don't knowwwwwwwwwww"

Hope any decisions and choices you make regarding your future will be made as wisely as you can...

I am not a real fan of office heart to hearts in the first place. They smack of manipulation as does your colleague's use of the word 'baby'.

Babe might have been ok, might have been.

Yeah the whole think smells to be honest.

Not sure if I feel really really stupid or super smart *laughs*

Almost everyone includes FB as part of reference checking these days. Seriously

I would never in a month of Mondays even remotely consider putting FB as a reference. People actually do that? Oh dear lord what has this world come to? *cynical laugh here*

Well in your current profile photo your legs go on and on and on FOREVER. So based on that I think you're the girl who seems to have the longest legs in the photo, which is 3rd from the right. Others have guessed that one for different reasons. Though I'm less sure when examining the top half of that body. Plus one can't really tell about the legs on the person on the far left, and someone mentioned the stance which rings true, along with your self-criticism of looking "shapeless". *shrugs*

I can't top anything anyone here has said in terms of advice. Excellent points all.

Third from the left. (as many have said before me, black top, white bottoms.) Based on a previous photo of you in May that I scrolled to, you seem quite tight and fit.

Your response to me is missing. I saw it the other day. About the magic jeans? Damn monkeys. Anyway, after thinking about your response I believe you essentially admitted that Sylvia and I are right about you being the one on the far left. Because you didn't comment on my remarks about that one.

The Road Not Taken
By Robert Frost
"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

I think that (in your heart of hearts) you know what you should do, and that is to take the road less traveled, the one where you are the pioneer, both of the Organization you shall form, as well as of the way you take to make it what it will become.

I'm not saying it will be an easy road, nor one that won't keep you busier than you've ever been in your entire life, but the rewards...the rewards could be ohsofabulouslybrimful! The sacrifices may also be great - that is a given. You may need to downsize from your dream home to something dreamy-smaller. You may need to give up other luxuries that you have so rightly earned over your career, but the feeling inside of having created something and brought it to fruition just the way you'd planned and visualized (as long as you definitely have free reign in the process) will be priceless!

If the people that work with you now are truly dedicated and understanding and care about you, they will be more happy for you than feel betrayed, because they must know that you do not leave them with anything but with a heavy heart at having to leave a place where you've come to value everyone and their efforts and talents, as well as how far the organization has come due to both their and your efforts and dedication.

That said - for all practical purposes, you should use the old legal sheet(s) of paper to evaluate the "positive" and "negative" aspects of each path, so that you can you can logically evaluate the whole process. You may possibly find that while taking the newer "road less traveled" may spiritually look as though it's the greatest thing for Brim, that logically it may not be the best thing to do, and that in the long run it will quite possibly look like the best option right now, but in that long run, may spiritually drain you too much to be worth taking that road.

Only you can decide Ms. Brim, only you. No matter what all of us say to the positive and perhaps negative, you have to figure out what you are giving up and what you will have to give up, and whether or not the rewards you will gain are worth what you've given up. It is a great opportunity, but is it YOUR great opportunity? Again, only you can judge - and you have my very best wishes on finding and following which is best for you!

Oh yes, and the brimbelly - I'm going to go with the 3rd from left, with the dark bikini top and the tiny white bottoms.
