I understand your feelings on this, however it is not always under their control. Fr'instance, your ISP messes up, (happened to me Sat. nite) by the time I got back on, she was gone. What cha gonna' do? Or, your cell phone loses reception. I know it bugs the crap outta ya, and I may just be an optimist for thinking that it was technology cutting me off over that they're just plain rude or apathetic.

I think it is rude. It is showing no respect for others, and I don't care if they are assholes. you should be polite. Sounds like someone was brought up in a dungeon. OMG what a lovely thought. Permission to leave Goddess?bkneel;

That drives me crazy during IMs (i'm old so i wouldn't know a text from an elbow). i hate sitting at the computer waiting and waiting for a response that never comes.

for he most part I agree, but one reason text is so great vs a phone call is that you can rspond when it is possible. If I am out or working I may still e respondng it just takes longer than the normal flow of conversation
