Oh.

I am a bit sad to see it go but I expect that it will feel freer for you.

Looks and for an even better cause... good for you..

but a question arises in my head...as to the postman's query: Do you feel weaker? ~ or simply lighter?

Yes ... it was significantly longer than my current profile picture shows when it was cut. The blogosphere has no clear reference point. But it is now not even ponytail-able.

Thanks for visiting.

Shower time - both in and after - are much simpler now. And that I like.

I do feel a little lighter. Shaking my head is no longer an existential experience. But oddly enough (the last few days, at least) I feel a tiny bit stronger, more solid, which I'm sure is just coincidence. I do look better in shorter hair, I wonder if I'll ever grow it that long again.

Shut UP!

Now then, on the positive side, I think the detail and the depth of focus of the photo is pretty striking. Look at my (red) Shure microphone; look at the plant in the foreground. Amazing, these contraptions we use.

Now stay they h*ll out of here.

Just had to come back and say Thanks! for implanting the tune.
    Really apropos for my summer.
Happy to be of service. That song is one of those natural, "manna from heaven" (as Elton John has said) songs of Paul's that you can just tell he wrote in about 2 minutes because he heard the entire song in one instant. It's a very fun song to play.

I think the beginning of his "Venus and Mars" album (Venus and Mars --> Rock Show) is the same way. They are just perfect songs.

Started at the end and got back to 2012 - and haven't seen it yet. But what a great excuse to read more! Oct. '11 - LOL!

And even though one might say you have mucho filter i really think it's more a case of further reading and code-breaking.

i have a forced seclusion coming up in several weeks and now i know what to do when i get tired of Game of Thrones.
This was a very nice comment, thank you.
Any one particular thing in October of 2011 that you are ( LOLing ) referring to?

Thanks for visiting.

No, more of a group than a one...

    - Would you care for a muffin?
    - Muffins - nay, a pastry shop, on a Seawolf

Interwoven with some rather serious discourses about self-destructive "friends" and destroyers.

    - depth charges
    - scrolllllllllllllll down submarine

After the part about your being an unusual blogger (going on to describe the person who actually detailed the events of his day) the sea bottom pic and the booms were literal LOLs.

i also enjoyed the musical dedications, complete with key and instrumentation.
Thanks for the explanation.

"Would you care for a muffin?"

A real and very influential person from my past, Sweet Melissa, even as a young teenager, was quite the pure little she-devil -- back when I had no idea what those things were, but just she made the rest of life turn grey.
