Just keep pulling yourself into the now.
when you find yourself starting to dread, think about switching off that switch
Today is all you have any ways. Tomorrow is just a possibility, so don't waste your present or the now with a maybe...

Best is to enjoy the present , and when he is away, remember the good times and prepare for their return

I write in my journal those things I wish to change, or what I wish to be, do or to happen. My advice Write it down daily (while he is gone)Yesterday is done, Tomorrow is not yet arrived, so live for today, enjoy, embrace, celebrate!!

All I can say is that for me personally... nope, it never gets easier or better. My travel is the odd night here or there and that's bad enough... hers I dread every time. I get moody and withdrawn before she goes, stress about her the whole time she's gone, rejoice when she comes home.

All I can say is that each time we do that the sense of incompleteness in my world is an affirmation of how important she is.

I've missed seeing you.

You are not alone in this struggle.
I know it well from past years.
I did this emotional spiral-thing in 2011 and 12 ---- on and on and on!
One day it stopped. (after more than 5 years )
I have a life of my own and I'm happy with it.
And I KNOW that he is going to be back ..... no doubts any more.
