I've had a couple of occasions when I've turned down a sure thing...because I was married at the time. I could have gotten away with it too. Strangely when I am single the opportunity never comes up!

Turned it down a couple of times with my ex and once in a sex club (guy did not look like he would keep a condom on) other than that i just love sex.

i have turned it down of totally avoided it ..various reasons too..ex,,in relationship,, not attracted to the other,,the other too jealous..just various reasons

So, the poll says the most common reason people turn down sex is that they are not attracted to the other person. Interestingly, nobody has yet said that sex isn't that important. Excellent results!

naughtyviolet: oh, perrlease! How did you become a sex slave? You agreed to it! Possibly, you even offered it, as in most cases slaves offer themselves and Masters accept the offer. Then they negotiate the terms of the arrangement. Hey, how do I know? I was a slave.... So, you're just horny and you love your Master. That's wonderful... I wish you love above all and that it grows and lasts a lifetime.

When I've turned down sex it's almost always because of chemistry or my mood...but I sometimes refuse sex because I know the frustration will lead to something much hotter...does that count? xo Lisa

For me, it's been when I wasn't attracted to the person or when they were interested in doing things that just didn't interest me, which I suppose would also make them unattractive to me!

I sometimes would rather have intimacy than sex. So in that respect, I would say that I have turned down actual sex for cuddling and sensuality, togetherness. ....Christy

I turned it down, because I didn't feel that I was that interested in the person (looks aside) for a relationship.
