BAN the words: I'm not good enough!
Please don't let them rule your life.

Oh please, please, tell me that I misread that and that you meant your job and not your relationship. Tell me that. If necessary, lie to me.

I'm a big believer in "to hell with your boss." I've had enough bosses to have that be my truth, but I really hope I've misread what you've just written.

I'm sorry.

I know how you feel, Katie. I wrestle with the same feelings more often than I'd like to admit. For what it's worth, I've only encountered a few people in my life who truly weren't worthy of love, and from where I'm sitting, you are the complete polar opposite of them.

These feelings will pass...and they will likely return again...then repeat the cycle. Sadly, for many people, this ebb and flow is no more able to be controlled than the tides. Ride it out the best you can...and look to those who love you...in their eyes, you will see the true reflection of your worth.

Happy Labor Day.

Katie

I hope you feel much better very soon....
