Well I was going to suggest that wonderful British Ale & sausages on a bun...quick, easy etc... But coming from Vancouver I have no idea how well that translates over there.

On the other hand, Mixztrixz's wonderful menu has seriously distracted me.. For hot California... Try... Watermelon salad, cube it & add feta cheese, a bit of balsamic vinager & some cilantro on top..... Terrific in the hot weather...

Right! Leeds fans, Yorkshire men and women, up for the game. They are not going to notice what the food lloks like because they're atching the TV. They will reach around for whatever plate finds their periferal vision, grab a handful and scoff!

So! Hold the cucumber, hold the salad in general. DEFINITELY hold the tea and cake. Something they can pick up in their hand and eat without looking.

I think that narrows it to burgers or dogs. I'd say hot dogs but with proper decent sausages not thos floppy things that come in a can! Ketchup (or even tomato relish if you want to feel like you "made" something.

Cook them in the oven so you don't have to watch them. Pre-prep the rolls (nice crusty ones, not doughy squashables!) and bob's your uncle. half-time, whoop them out the over, fill the rolls and ta-dahhhhh!

Bag of chips, special cheesy dip, hot wings, meat on the grill, bucket of beer

Don't you think that could be perfect for Rugby, too?
Why not try and give it an American touch?
