I hear what you're saying, and agree with almost all of it, but the choice between the two is still easy for me.

Granted, these two have a lot in common. They are both corporatists, they were both born with silver spoons in their mouths, they both appear to view the truth as an inconvenience, and they both support policies that I vehemently oppose.

But there are differences. Clinton's lies are calculated for political expediency and cover up. Not good, for sure, but par for the course when it comes to a politician. Trump's lies, however, all too often appear to be the ravings of a lunatic—"facts" and "statistics" he pulled directly from his ass or delusional anecdotes that are clear departures from what we accept as reality, which I consider far more troublesome and perhaps terrifying.

A Clinton victory would signal four more years of the status quo. The rich will get even richer, the healthcare system will still be a disaster, nothing significant will be done concerning climate change, race issues, the war on terror, the war on drugs, campaign finance, unemployment, poverty, etc. It's a grim thought that nothing will get better, but with Trump, I can imagine things getting quite a bit worse.

Under Trump, the immigration issue alone could be horrifying. Can you imagine our nation dotted with hundreds of internment (a.k.a. concentration) camps that would be necessary to deport 11 million people? It would make what we did to Japanese Americans in WWII look small in comparison. Can you imagine an INS "Gestapo" going door-to-door rounding up undocumented families? "The Diary of Anne Frank" might be replaced by an equally harrowing "Diary of Anita Gonzalez." Can you imagine what the damage to our economy would be with the sudden removal of millions of people from the agricultural and service workforce with no one to back fill those jobs? On this one issue alone (and believe me, there are dozens of others I could talk about), Clinton's corruption feels minor to me compared to the dark ages a Trump presidency could put our nation through.

Don't get me wrong...Hillary Clinton is a terrible candidate for president, the last Democrat I would ever want nominated, but she's not a delusional, intellectually challenged racist and misogynist. I do believe the country would remain intact after her presidency was over, but with Trump, I'm not sure we could say the same.

I'm not American nor do I live there, I allow myself to have an opinion nevertheless.
I agreed with most of what you wrote until the last paragraph.
I JUDGE!
And I'm scared to death by him, by those who vote for him and even more so by those who did and made this situation possible with their vote.

Our history books show what can happen, if people don't decide to vote for the lesser of two evils.
It can turn the whole world into a bloody mess and that is not what I want for my children.
Please don't vote for Mickey Mouse though I'd prefer that choice, too.

The whole democratic world, it seems to me, is disenchanted with its political leaders and the choice we seem to be presented with between the devil and the deep blue sea. It explains the idiotic Brexit vote at home and the fact that in this country, a far right candidate will have another bite at the Presidency cherry in October (due to irregularities with the postal vote that saw him lose to the Green (essentially) candidate by just 0.3% of the vote).

We need the sensible to stand for parliament, but who wants to drink from that poison chalice? It would be hard to do things worse than they are being managed currently... but that has bugger all to do with kink!

The Chump isn't fit to run a golf course in Scotland. Ah, I should have thought about that one.

It is good to see you back, Katie. very good.

However, on the matter of who is best suited to be leader of the free world, I am afraid I must remain silent. It is not that I don't have an opinion but I find in most forums be they on Alt, other online places or even my local boozer, it is not my opinion that matters to others, only whether I agree with them.

SO I hold my counsel.

(And then sneak over and snog the bejayzuz out of you and select my dirtiest sexivoice to enquire: "How's the "No cumming" coming along?")
