Coming from the UK, I have to say that the lack of police shootings in Norway wasn't one of the things that struck me about the place.

Call me shallow, but it's the simple fact that there aren't any ugly people there, and everybody's fit and healthy.

Well, that's not completely true. In all my visits I saw just one overweight dude, but he was coming out of a hospital so I presume he was being treated for it...

No. We have unhealthy (and some extremely ugly) people here. The cultural thing means that it's easier to be healthy than not, though. Mind you - this does not extend so much to our livers.

About 15% of teenagers are technically overweight and only about 50% do the recommended daily amount of exercise - but this is improving every year.


In that case, would you mind letting them out a bit more often? It's decidedly unsettling for us folk travelling from the UK when we see all your beautiful people everywhere. It dampens the ego somewhat.
