I think some only learn until they are burned.
Sometimes being a true and good friend is hard to do with what you are confronted with in this person.

I know at times my frank advice has fallen on deaf ears. But I was falsely placated with promises of doing better and what a good person i am in trying to save her marriage.

But you know in the end, you find out, it was lies. People will do what they do. Followed by their emotions and sexual organ, whatever the issue is.

I cannot speak for you. I can only speak for me..i lay down the seed. If it grows in the person than fine, if not, the issue is their's, not mine to repair.

Which sounds like i am being cold. Nah..just do not like the duplicity in people. If you want to whore around, then do it..at least it is honest, then putting on a false face of trying to be so sweet and faithful.

I guess i am frustated with someone who had considered a friend. She knows i do not care for her choices which makes her stay away.

Yes, i think you are quite wise in your last line..we get what we want, even if it is not sensible, good, or honest, so be it.

I so like this post.
