A warm hug...

We can only try to leave the Best legacy we can - like your Dad did....

G .... An epiphany?

Apparently so and a great one.

Leave the world a better place than you found it?

Well, yeah. And make those you love better people ... Learning and teaching go hand in hand.

I want My friends, associates and family to smile when they think back on Me.

Let those you love know it .... Often.

It's a strange thing but modern technology seems to increase the likelihood of hearing from people no longer with us. (I found a nessage on my phone last year from my mother! I guess I simply failed to erase but something of a shock!)

but then, even though it invokes sad thoughts, it's nice to hear from them, no?

I kept my mom's last voicemail for the longest time.....just to hear her voice every now and again. Like you, every time i heard it, i was reminded how much i was loved.

i am sure you will leave a legacy much like your dad's....those that matter will know how much you loved and supported them.....warm hugs, cyn

Whilew clearing my desk when I moved last year I found letters my Dad had written to me the year he died (much too early)
I know what it feels like to find these reminders of a deeply loved person.

I feel you on this one. I hate that I've deleted so many emails from my dad, even silly ones. But there is one I always kept that says how proud he is of me. Reminds me how seemingly insignificant messages can make all the difference.

That's the best social media thing I have read.
Big hug and a salute to passed on and much missed Fathers!
