The sad thing abut this song, it was about the break up of the Simon & Garfunkle duo. they were heading their own separate ways as so many 60's groups had or were doing. In the end, it freed Simon to go in other directions. Which musically were even more powerful.

I don;t know about playing it forward or backward. I just try to do whats right every day. In your case I would get you another glass of wine. I can't handle Starbunkles, so you won;t see me there, way too much caffeine added to their coffee.

Hmmm so many tunes to pick from. Music does move the spirit. OK... I do not think it is undomly. Hm is that a word? Well the spellcheck didnt underline it. Who cares!!! I do not think it is undomly to sing a tune to brighten up somebody else's world or help them fall asleep. Stay with me. I am not sure if I have the chorus right. Starts out with a bouncy melody of... hm bop ba, ba boom ba la or something like that. Then as if angels from heaven are singing ..... in his soothest high pitch voice possible... In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight .... everybody join in. In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight. In the spirit of, "paying it forward friday" I am buying smoothies for the first five. Yahoo its friday. Humming, whistling, yodeling, and singing the tune ... in the jungle, the mighty jungle.... feel free to join in

Here is a song:

Glen Phillips - Duck and Cover live 2008

You can find it on youtube.

Glenn is a good guy. You can often find him playing small clubs on California's Central Coast from Ventura to San Luis Obispo. He is very personable.
