Its only a matter of time before we have boots on the ground din Iraq. Sadly we are the World Police force against some pretty whacked forces. Who knows, perhaps the Hammer and Cycle will be trying to bull into Europe again.

The terrible numbers will keep multiplying.
Loosing the cream of every generation is one of humanities worst features.

Here is to them, what's like them.
Yeah few and most of them dead.

The opinions and understanding portrayed in my blog are mainly unfounded, misguided or wrong.

Thank you for the reminder. 'With the exception of 9/11, most anniversaries of acts of terrorism seem to only be marked by those who are most directly affected by them. This is in part because most of us don't want to revisit it...and, sadly, in part because these senseless acts keep occurring over and over.

I'm not sure which is the greater tragedy...the loss of all those lives 31 years ago in Beirut...or the foreign policy insanity since that not only has failed to improve the situation but has actually exacerbated foreign hatred toward our country and our people.

The best way to honor our fallen soldiers is to ensure that their sons, daughters, and grandchildren do not meet the same fate...and in this, we have failed.

To quote Mrs. Clinton, "what does it matter..."
It matters to the families.
It matters to the friends.
It matters to the brothers in arms.
It SHOULD matter to the politicians.
It SHOULD matter to the people who enjoy their freedom.
May God bring them rest.

Morii it's good to be reminded now, and again of the people in this world who still hate, and make it their destiny to inflict as much caos, and terror to those who resist. This country like many others will resist, and will continue to send those we love into harms way. The price they pay for us will never be forgotten, as long as we continue to remember. This isn't a conventional enemy, they hide behind women, and childen, and will cowardly hide in their holes with the other vermon. Take care.

Unfortunately , you are right! We will see this again!

Yesterday, the Canadian Parliament! Fortunately, the scale was less but one innocent soldier was still murdered!!!
