 It would be a vast improvement for most sports, ticket sales could suffer a minor dip.
you would appreciate motorcycle racing in the wet, thats just as daft and enjoyable too watch!

 I can see it now...both teams line up for the first play of the game. Several feet of snow on the field. The ball is hiked...the D-line,and O-line crash into each other, the remaining players on the field move a foot, and fall down. The D-line, and the O-line are stuck in place not able to move, the QB still holding the ball looks for the HB who has fallen down after taking a step. Game over...no one can move.
