Not to be contrarian, but that glorious moment of pre-orgasm is exactly like you describe, isn't it? And so, to every thing there is a season, and a time to every feeling under heaven.

But to expect that immediacy routinely from Life, and from a submissive's response constantly, is laughably delusional. The question is, why do so many women (submissives) end up getting involved with these types of men?

Thanks for writing.

There are differences between wanting, deserving and earning. The ability to learn those is a sign of maturity and an indication of the likelihood of success.

We (U.S.) and to some extent the entire world have become spoiled.
We expect everything to happen at Internet speed. When we search or click on something, if it takes 1.2 seconds, that's too slow! It spills over into everything else we do. Come on, hurry up and cook! Microwave!

Gratification must come instantaneously, or we are not satisfied.
I have to laugh when I read a 19 year-old saying, she has been waiting forever for the right person to come along.

We are bastards of technology.
Your experience with this phenomenon just happens to revolve around Doms. When in truth, it is a new quirk of society.

Good luck with the grandson dom!
