I don't know much about Dr Suess. But anyone who says they don't do vanilla, must not have a life. Who does the laundry, dishes, cooks, mops the floor, picks up the groceries, etc. We all have vanilla aspects to our lives.

I don't think the "star bellied sneeches" story has anything to do with peoples opinions about themselves, as much as peoples opinions about others that are not like them. I have shown the story to my grand children often, one is black, one is thai and the others aren't and so the story teaches them that even though we make look different we're all human beings and all deserve common courtesy and respect.
The story teaches them the importance of accepting themselves as god made them rather than trying be something they're not just to fit in.

The whole **** world is vanilla, you have been raised vanilla, but if you dont feel that way, you are not a vanilla, although the whole world around you is sexual orientated vanillas.

If you feel gay, are gay, you are not vanilla, because being vanilla is being heterosexual straight...
so everybody with a aberration is not vanilla, although you live in a vanilla world, work with vanilla people, do shopping, travel... and all the daily hassle.
Inside, your feelings are not vanilla... your needs are different orientated.

it is not just a sexual variation/ orientation, to some.

@poisoned_harlett,

needs are the same.

thats why real good long time friends dont want to be friend with me anymore, after i told them my desires, because i thought we were real friends!

vanilla relationship problems, items is accepted to talk about, but as soon as I want to talk about my Sadism/ masochistic needs, the needs are not considered the same.

Dont come to me, with that of no account argument...

I have lost many "friends", who considered them self very, very open to all kinds of (sexual) relation forms....
Most vanillas are scared shitless when confronted with sm item, not as a sex play, but as a relation.

Friends, male and female, always talk to me, about their vanilla problems in their relation, they are very open about all and all....
That is what happens when you are friends for a long time, they get very personal/intimate with me....
I give my view, i try to imaging how this ever could work, such a relation, but i dont judge them for being vanilla.. how could i?

But as soon as i try to tell about my items, they go running for the hills,
very educated people, very well traveled people....

needs are not accepted as the same!
Do me the start!

I am not talking about sexual fetishes. That is kinky- sex-play, nice for in the bedroom... who cares what anybody does in their bedroom?

i am talking about living the Master-slave romance relation. That is an whole other kind of orientation and has nothing to do with sex, bedroom play,

Thats why people lose their jobs, lose parental authority over their childeren, lose their homes, when the outside vanilla world learns about their SM orientated relation...

Dont act so ignorant....

this is what happens to lifestyle bdsm-people, in the big bad outside - vanilla- world... if word gets about.....

Just as homosexuals still can lose their jobs, when words get about...in the real outside world, that is.

Sex sm (role) play is not lifestyle.
There is a very big difference, dont compare apples with pears... thank you,

have a nice day, enjoy
