"G, can you relate?"

I have the 'grammar Nazi gene too.

"Can't you just say that Dominant is a noun and Dominate is a verb?"

You could, but not everyone would have a clue as to what you're talking about.

"Is misusing the terms the end of the world?"

I just wrap My head with duct tape so that it doesn't explode and I move on to worrying about the use of your versus you're.

"Fuck, you are a grammar Nazi!"

Guilty....

Yes, we've talked about this in the blogs for eons. Most likely, the people who need this little lesson don't read the blogs. *shrugs*

It amuses me that people who note they are "educated," then find they cannot tell the difference or cannot communicate what they are or want. We all make the occasional mistakes, but really... Oh well. If I were submissive, I think it would be an easy way to weed through profiles. If a dominant male cannot distinguish the difference or care to communicate effectively, then what else are they lax about. Should make a lady wonder.

Those who will not read are no better off than those who cannot read.

I am unsure that an effective means is available through which one may correct in a moment what took years of educational neglect to acquire.

I can tell you that I helped a younger friend to make sense of the syllabi in some of her college courses, and was shocked to see - more than once! - that the professor felt a need to notify students that text message spelling was not acceptable for college-level work.
Mercy!
