Made a homemade costume as one of Genghis Khan's Warriors.

Have gone as a New Guinea Mud Man, again home made and covered my body in makeup.

As a Cannibal, Body pain all over, bone in the nose, and nothing on under the loin cloth.

Homemade giant robot, no body parts exposed. Kind of cross between Robie Robot, and Gort from the Original Day the Earth Stood Still. I really could not dance, could hardly move. No way to speak. Had a complicit friend would ask me yes or no question and i could nod my head. Had tubes from my mouth to my hand area that I could put in Beer and drink it. The who suit was covered in tin foil and had a battery hooked up to pad in the hand that could give a mild shock. The switch was inside the hand part. Had a small a portable tape player with sound that could be played. Had to be in sequence for questions my friend asked when the contest was held.

US WWI Punitive Expedition era Cavalry Office Outfit that was all original from the collection I had at the time.

Pirate outfit, with a hooked arm, scraggly, danced like crazy that night and the make ran off my face from sweat, It wa s a really hot venue in Ojai, Calif.

My mom has these beautiful shawls and trinkets from Europe (Italy and Scotland), but I managed to make it into a very expensive looking gypsy look when I was eleven. I think that was the last time I dressed up for halloween.

However, that being said, I dressed as a kooky cowgirl. The theme was cowgirl as a group of friends were up in Norther Michigan for Halloween.

My friends got prizes, but mine garnered nothing.

I made a necklace of plastic barbie heads, animal toy heads, and a belt with my little ponies..hmmm..perhaps I was a bit too off in my costume.

I helped my friend with hers..i did her make up and outfit..silver and black gothic cowgirl. As far as the other friend..not sure why she got a prize..she was irish (all in green with clover cowgirl).

Mine was a bit weird..gingham print blouse, jean material vest and skirt with petticoat and and doc martens, the doll head necklace, the my little pony embellished belt..hahahaha.

At work, we have a huge party..as the place employs a lot of people and some departments really get into it as a theme. One girl won last year for her costume..octo mom..eight baby dolls stuck to her body all over the place and looking haggard and tired..it was very funny.

Considering the bar, it was up in a small town in Northern Michigan, so i am sure I stuck out as the weirdo. What else is new?

I've got a Phantom of the Opera mask I picked up someplace, NY probably. I combine that with a navy-blue hanten I bought at Shirokiya in Tokyo and Voila, I'm the Phantom. I open a window and play "The Music of the Night" at full volume on Halloween.. Great for greeting trick or treaters at the door. Kids hear the music and come from blocks away. I feel like the pied piper.
