In this day and age, with the communication devices we have available, you could be on the moon and yet with skype, e mail, texting and phone, you can still be close. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

I grew up with older twin sisters, and married a twin (now my ex). The life of twins is unique to say the least. I understand your writing.

You and your sister seem conjoined mentally and psychologically. IMO, it's a good thing to have someone that close. There are presence, words, etc. but the telepathic connections bonds you.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Svetya, than are dreamt of in the American philosophy of individuality. If being with your twin helps you find your identity, then how is that not a manifestation of your individuality? Twins are special and unique. How is it possible that uniqueness is not the epitome of individuality? If this be treason, make the most of it.

Our relationship is enviable in some ways but also very complicated. The problem with knowing another person so well is that you can't hide who you are! i have always sought to have at least one relationship where I had no need to hide who I am. I haven't always been successful. When I have been, however, the sense of fulfillment and liberation was intoxicating. I have one such relationship now, and hope to add another.
