I use it for the profiles that I find interesting, especially if they don't have a blog that I can follow.

G, I wonder the same thing about people with 5,397 people in their Friends Network.

Or the ones with 6,304!

Why do you hotlist?

To save the smoking hot videos.

Perv!

You rang?

When I was a paying member, and years ago alt was a very active places in chat and otherwise; hotlisting was a means of keeping track of soemoen you wanted to larn more about when you saw the, but were otherwise eingaged in chatting. It was like you first did as a means of keeping track of a name. Now I can't hot list or friend or even view profiles. but with alternative services and folks leaving those provate message boxes on the top of blogs, you can always get a messae accross, in my case, sometiems intellegently if my spell check is working to correct my horrid typos.

Rosie,,,,,agreed it is not fair, but many elementsof alt have not and in some caases never worked for me and I was a paying member over 15 years. I can't view profiels, I can;t initiate alt mail, I can not initialte or respond to chat room greyboxes. I can't view cams, photos on the main pages do not show up. but I can see photos on blogs. I can respond to blogs and alt email, The alt instant direct chat has never worked for me. So that is why i dropped paying for alt.

Nice lingerie your wearing. Classy. In the icon photo.

I can see the main intro and the first 3 photos, and that is usually enough to know if I'm interested.

Yes, what Aislin said is close enough to why I do it as well.

How long is your Hotlist? Do you stop after six? After a baker's dozen? If your Hotlist goes on for pages, do you check them all, each time?

Do you remove people from your Hotlist after awhile? And if so, why?
>>Not usually.

Generally, I can’t imagine anyone Hotlisting for any reason beyond a genuine interest of some sort. A wanting to connect, engage and see where it goes.
>> Yeah? Well, you could always imagine harder, if you'd care to...

Which brings me to my final question:
For those of you who have a Dom or Submissive already, and claim not to be looking for anyone new . . . why do you Hotlist?
>>Because they want to?

Why show such an open interest if you are already in a committed D/s relationship?
>>Ah, it seems you tend to feel a hotlist is an indication of interest in engaging, that close?

Are you just keeping your options open? Or actively seeking out an upgrade, hoping to find a better one than the one you’ve got?
>>No to both.

Let's just say that it - hotlisting - seems a benign & acceptable enough practice. What would make it not be?

Loved the questions Rosie.
