So evocative of days I dearly miss. I don't know why, but the waxed paper cup reference really brought it all back. G ...... Vlasik? The pickles? Yeah, they advertised with a cartoon stork. Might be the ones she's trying to remember. And you could drink right from the garden hose. Yeah, screw the bottled water! You know, well a couple of things. One, memories of the past when life was so simplistic are true treasure. Two, my last true event where my family and I watched fireworks was when I was about 12. I remember using my straw to sneak a taste of a Calvert Canadian Whiskey from a guys cup. I hated it. Damn how things have change, well... And three, I never had a really good pickle.
