Chat up lines #8

Despite being more than a little disturbed about the combination of a family member, a pet and some Sun-Pat, this email received did make think about the inconsistencies I often see when reading erotic stories.

The cousin here goes from girl to boy and back to a girl again all in the space of one poorly constructed sort of sentence. When browsing the web, I often read things along the lines of 'he entered her with his foot long, 8 inch cock' or 'he was the tenth man to fuck her virgin pussy'.

I may have read a few erotic novels in my time and generally find the writing to be poor and the stories lacking in some way or another. I'm yet to find an erotic book I love from cover to cover. I'll just have to keep on reading until I find one.

What's your favourite erotic novel and why?

p.s. If anyone says fifty shades of grey I will block them

Probably The Story of O.

Actually, I couldn't find one that was a true favorite, so I wrote my own No Way Out Belle de Jour Jenny. Unfortunately, that didn't measure up either. It turns out that writing erotic fiction, like stand up comedy, isn't so easy after all.

I read O and enjoyed the beginning part but found it less so as the book went on. I guess some of this is as I like to imagine me being the subject and it touched on elements that aren't for me. I'll have to have a nose at your story. Maybe it'll be the perfection I've been looking for!

You'll find the first three chapters a bit rough reading. I didn't catch on to how alt. was screwing up the paragraph formatting until chapter four. Fortunately they're short chapters.

Your email is a masterpiece of continuity fuck-ups! You'll often find stories where the heroine, tied and tightly gagged is suddenly able to utter complete sentences of passionate ecstasy. Or bare feet that suddenly spring a pair of high heels.

Delta of Venus was a revelation; truly literary erotica.

I stole "Venus in India" from the newsagents when I was 14. That made a big impression at the time. Can't remember a word of it now!

I think you should read it again then
