Coming at this as a sub, I would estimate that 9 out of every 10 listings on ALT for mistresses is a scam-- and I would consider this a conservative estimate. The administrators of the site have neither the time nor the incentive to police it, so it is up to us to do so on their behalf. On average, I probably hand in about 3 scammers a day through "report abuse," and I will say that when the evidence is detailed and convincing, the administrators move very quickly to deactivate the account. I like your way of authenticating "her" photos; you can also compare what she sent you with data bases like Google Images and Tineye.

Every master or sub on ALT should visit the romancescam website, and read up on the red flags for scams coming out of Russia (what you have here), Nigeria, Ghana, and increasingly, out of Malaysia (again, Nigerian). Here is another test that I find very useful: ask them for the zip code and area code of their location here in the US, or for that matter in Europe or anywhere in the British Commonwealth. I give them 15 seconds to reply, knowing that it takes about 75 seconds to look up this information and transmit it, if the scammer does not already have it to hand. I snared a so-called Mistress right here in Minneapolis yesterday with this gambit.

Let me encourage anyone else who has useful ideas to bring to bear on the problem to comment here, or post their own blog. And by the way, has anyone here ever encountered a scam profile with an active blog? I have yet to do so.
