If you reported it to alt, you already know what... nothing, zip, zilch, nada.

But now you can coin a new quote "if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, theft must be high praise indeed." (apologies to Oscar Wilde)

You'll be famous!!!

I cannot believe that someone has the audacity to steal and then pass off a photo as theirs. I suppose it is flattery but a little creepy all the same.

The only way to get them taken down because they are half shots not your face. It is a lovely top I will say. Get a piece of paper or write on yourself with your screen name with the top on in the photo or do the verified thing. After that customer service should take down the photo's someone stole from you. Sometimes its a good idea to label your photo's also or go along with the advice I gave you. I am Sorry this happen why can't that person take there own or their to lazy. good luck.

It isn't often I feel grateful for being old and ugly but your story has accomplished that for me. It is a compliment that someone considers your pic worth stealing; unfortunately, the sense of violation and annoyance far exceeds that. You have my sympathy for your struggle.

My guess is that it is definitely not a woman. Why would a woman steal another woman's pic unless in this case it is breast envy.

I can understand someone seeing a lovely photo and wanting to keep a copy of it, rather than see the profile or blog it belongs to eventually taken down and lose it forever. That, to me, is like wanting to have a memento in your scrapbook.

What gets me is how stupid the people are who use stolen photos in their profiles. One guy stole photos from a woman's blog here and put them in his own fake female profile. He was so stupid that he forgot where he got the photos from, and actually wrote to the woman, enclosing the photos, and asked if she would accept him as her slave.

She didn't know which was worse, the feeling of stupification she got from realizing that someone could be that dumb, or the outrage she felt at the brazen theft and misuse of her photos which she had shared with us through her blog as illustrations of aspects of the lifestyle.

I think it's ridiculous that people would still photos and post them on their own profile. There are fake profiles on the site that will steal your photos and give themselves a different name. I've received email from profiles like I described.

Howling at the moon and mal ad osteo.

I got news for ya, it's not the metal rings that caused the purple fabric to fray and rip

Okay, so much for my big breasted humor . .

I have to agree, must be a guy pretending to be a woman with Big ‘Uns.
Why he, they, it, would be stupid enough to steal from the very site where they intended and did use them, befuddles me.
I suggest you follow through on making sure alt acts on your report.

There are copy right laws really know one can take your photo's . But if you want it taken down contact Alt Customer service . They will ask verification like you taking a photo with the top or your face with a piece of paper with your screen name on the piece of paper this so know its you not this other person. You do not have to post the pic of your face here only to them. Some art photos or some tumbler photos or so on can be shared but your own work or yours people can't take with out your permission. They need to have your permission by law to have your photo and write it in the info box who it is so on its your photo.
