I don't believe that we can establish the existence of love or faith based on the anecdotal claims from people who feel it. As a non-believer myself, I have had many theists try to convince me that I should believe based on their personal revelations and experiences of "the Holy Spirit flowing through them." But how could that ever convince me, when I cannot differentiate between these fantastic claims and those of the insane? The same can be said for love. Claims of love, as all of us certainly are aware, are not terribly reliable. But love can be measured through observable actions...there are thousands of ways one could generate metrics concerning the sacrifices and gestures made in conflict with self interest when examining the concept of love. Similarly, the same could be done for faith...there are certainly demonstrable behaviors that indicate its veracity, though I personally do not count faith as a virtue, as it idealizes the silencing of inquiry and curiosity, which are two virtues I would place right up there with love. Sorry for not answering your intended question...my favorite songs, love or otherwise, seem to change by the moment, depending on my mood, but we do share some similar tastes. "Come in From the Cold" is one of Mitchell's best. ~LastGuy "It's great to be here. It's great to be anywhere." -- Keith Richards "There are many spokes on the wheel of life. First, we're here to explore new possibilities." -- Ray Charles
