Got The News

Well we got the news about my sister and unfortunaly it wasn't what we were hoping to hear. But she is being treated at a facility associated with the Susan G Koman people so hopefully this is a good thing. The doctor says she has an aggressive form of cancer. She goes in Tuesday for an MRI to see if it has spread and she goes to see the surgeon on Wednesday. All prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.

Got Some Maybe Bad News

I got a call from my sister over the weekend. She has found a very large lump in her breast. I must say she is taking it very well considering she doesnt have health insurance and she has been told the cost of the mamogram is going to be 700 dollars. I am in shock. So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers those of you who pray. All good will is appreciated at this time. And if you cant do that just send money LOL

My First Blog

I have been telling myself I was going to write a blog for a long time and have never done it. So now I have made myself sit down and start. What made me begin this was some thoughts I have been having recently. I had a playdate a few days ago with a new playmate. He was someone I had met on another site. We had chatted for several months, then talked on the phone, then got together real time for platonic fun before taking it to the next level. It had been a while since I had had a play date. Real life things kept getting in the way as they have a tendency to do. It was a wonderful time spent with this person. In the following days I have spent a lot of time pondering what makes the BDSM part of my life so important to me. I have a wonderful husband whom I love very much and who loves me. I have three grown children that I would do anything for. Yet when that person was on his knees before me kissing my feet and calling me Mistress the feeling was something that almost overwhelms me at times. The idea of someone turning themselves over to you to do with them as you please. The level of trust involved in that decision is mind boggling. Knowing I am the recipient of that trust is a responsibility I take very seriously. It may be called play but real people and real feelings are invovled and we must never forget that.
