Mood: Great...
This week is almost over. And, this weekend will be three days long. Next week is only 4 days long. All of this is great by me.
I need a break. But even ten days is too short for me. Three days is almost nothing.

The administrative staff is alive and well and attending endless meetings. Operations limp along. My protege is having a breakdown--and I'm shining the spotlight on him. He has to take his soapbox out of my ofice and take his show on the road. I'm tired of listening to his dribble! And the beat goes on...

It's the week from hell so far...

Mood: Amazed...
It was a good weekend, but we slammed right into the insanity, yesterday. The New Moon is approaching. One of our employees was run over. We're embroiled in an interagency conflict. We even have scheduled lunacy this week. This weekend will be too short.

Mood: Good...
It was a wierd week. It was chock full of crazies. Next week promises to be even worse. I finished work early yesterday afternoon.
Now, I'm at the weekend. I'm glad for a rest. And, I'm glad for a day with my daughter. We should have a great day.

They're all unhappy, paranoid, and twisted. I should be used to it by now. I guess I keep expecting them to learn from their mistakes. I can see it eating holes in them. It amazes me. While I know that they can get me sick with their nonsense, I take pleasure watching them do it unto themselves.

It is a wonderful weekend...

Mood: Relaxed...
So far the weekend has been great. My daughter took her road test and got her driver's license. We also upgraded our smart phones, and are arguing with Siri. We spent Friday and Saturday together, and now I'm enjoying Sunday on my own.
I'm cooking chicken. I have a lot of fresh fruit, and I'm making salad. I have several routine doctor's appointments next week. And, I'm preparing the things I'll need for work next week. It should all go fast.
My daughter and I are planning an epic road trip to get her a car. We'll do that this summer. This fall she starts college.
