After an exhaustive (an exhausting) scientific search of the facts, the pictures, the dates and the blog I'll say what many think:

Alt new but not really improved

So there's FINALLY an alt app for my iPhone! Well, perhaps it is not exactly an app but it did download a little alt.com icon on my phone. That's cool.
I'm feeling cranky because I miss some of the old bloggers. This came up because one of the pictures alt used to whore the site on the new icon was of TheLadyJen, the sexiest alt cam girl of them all. That of course made me think of Scratch_Jones aka his Sweet Jonesness... which naturally lead me to fluffergirl. Sweet Jones is the single most insane person I have ever sorta met on this site; after talking to him on the phone one generally needs a Valium. 
And whilst I am on this rant I also miss kittylove45, although I just texted with her today and DominaDelight and her lovely wife, as well as the one and only xLilithx, and of course lostPersephone.
I know there are a lot of others too... but these come to mind.
But anyway it's Jezday; at least I can point and laugh at the natives on TV tonight.

I threw more "k's" in the title because I did not want anyone to think this was some racist thing. Did it work??
The day after I realized the college football national championship this year will be in NOLA (k and I are huge LSU fans) k comes home to tell me that her national meeting is that same week and she cannot go. That's a HUGE blow. YES-- I KNOW the season is hardly over and anything can happen, but it is very possible that my team could be in it to win it and I have to look ahead 
I don't talk much here ever about k and I for very specific reasons. However, we first met in a M S N BDSM chatroom in 2001. Back then both the big M and the big Y had kink chat rooms, now they are gone for liability reasons. Anywho despite "meeting" at that time we did not meet in real time until I returned from a semester of law school in London, in 2003. Our first meet was in New Orleans, and it happened to coincide with LSU playing Oklahoma for a national championship.
k had been going to NOLA for years, mostly for Jazz Fest. Yet this is where my love affair of New Orleans, LSU and k all became mish-mashed together. The last time LSU won a Championship was in 2007, on k's birthday, and the stories from that night are leg-en (wait for it!) dary!
Anywho, to go to NOLA to see LSU win without k would not be the same... but it will be damn sad to be alone in NJ watching the game on TV too! STOOOOOOPID WORK MESSING UP MY PLANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many of my good friends on here have met k and know her to be the most awesome hostess with the mostest when I have my parties. I have been blessed with a primary partner who truly understands, loves and supports me and whatever crazy shit I want to do. That's a real submissive. I love my k.
... But I want to be in NOLA on January 9th with her, dammit!!!
By the way... I've hidden my "first time for everything" post. I appreciate the validation from all of you but I think it could lead to unnecessary drama.

Some domly dude on fet just emailed me wanting to know information on someone we both know. I don't know this domly dude, and I found this email very odd and offputting.
The subject of the email is someone I have met in real time but I do not associate with anymore for reasons I don't want to get into here. When I asked him how he got my name he put me off with some ominously omniscient comment about how he pretty much knows everyone and everything... yada yada if that is the case why the fuck are you bothering me?
Despite no longer being friends with the subject I emailed and mentioned this exchange because my spidey sense is tingling. I've not heard back yet. It also took three emails for the domly dude to understand that I wasn't saying anything about anyone unless the subject knew about it and approved.
The kicker is that if he knows me through this person then he should know our history.. which makes referencing redundant.
So what do you think? Would you give out a reference on someone from your past to some random dude who emails you?

What's the difference between a toxic vanilla relationship and a toxic kink one? I was thinking about a comment Hot_Pepper_Boi left on the post just prior to this one:

Why is this not the case?
I have been pondering it...
and
I have come to the realization that it is impossible for a large percentage of humanity to rise above their own experience and see things through a lens that is not covered in the filth of their own experiences, dramas, hangups and misfortunes.
That's why we have such a hard time accepting differences... We need to drag people into our own reality because we are incapable of escaping ourselves long enough to try to see things from another perspective. We are obsessed with ourselves and too afraid that what we are doing might be wrong, therefore it's much safer to think that anyone significantly different from us must be wrong.
That's all I got tonight.
I kinda feel like I was channeling Max there for a moment.
