well some chatting this evening has changed my view from yesterday.
There is hope at alt after all ( which I really thought there might be ) with several people who offered alot more depth and understanding, and according to their profile very surprisingly young, but definately too young for me ( below 25 )
I suspect it will be several months building a network of people I trust and actually meet, which reading other blogs seems to be something of an issue for some.
There are some who are obviously fake, and no doubt some are fake who are appear genuine, but closing for this weeks blog, alt is somewhere i will treat with caution, the clubs and meets I suspect will be more useful, but only because of meeting real people.

are subs offering more than they understand

it has only been a couple of days back at alt, and I find that alot of subs are offering 'anything goes' be it , bondage, pain, gangbangs etc, which I do find a little odd.
Are the subs of today trying to do everything as fast as they can ? or is there some underlying competition between them.
I must admit that the use of someone as a toy i do find very appealing, but I am also left with the sense that the person is more an empty shell, than someone who actually would enjoy what i would do to them.
Over the last 5 years I have only found 5-10 people who I truely believe have actually enjoyed some of the things I have done, so I am a little saddened by the need to sort through some very obvious people.
I have talked with several other doms and there are some curious attitudes there as well, from,
i) well if it is on offer, use them and lose them
ii) if they want the experience at least they will know if it is for them ( remember I am a little extreme on pain and teasing, and very strict )
iii) to avoid like the plague unless someone recommends them.
so in conslusion from reading through my emails for today, confusion for me is very rare, but there is a little, and perhaps alt is not the place it once was.

It has been a while since i properly played at Alt, and there have been some interesting developments with the range of people now frequenting the numbers.
I notice there are alot more players, which is a shame, and 95% of the people I chat to are after a quickie ( fuck usually ) than something which is much deeper.
Is this the shape of things to come ? I personally hope not, as I find a 'fuck' is not very satisfying at all, but only the deeper, understanding found in a scene.
Well I have had a look for a few people, some still here, some not, and we will see over the next couple of months if I can find people with that deeper sense of exploration I want.
