What in the devils wardrobe.

What in the devils wardrobe has become of the blogs?
I am sure that the time between refreshes is getting longer every day.
There really cannot be any advantage to Alt or the membership in posting an avalanche of blogs twice a day or every fourteen or more hours as it seems to stand while I write this looking at what was there when I went to bed.
There are issues to discuss thing to pass on and in this electronic age one would hope to be able to do so with speed and efficiency.

Since I believe a particular member made a concerted effort at getting me banned from Alt in May, for having the temerity of questioning his postings in the magazine I feel I have a right to ask him one question.
Of course since I have not named him he has the opportunity of not answering and I have not breached the blog guidelines that forbid me from Harassing, threatening, degrading, intimidating, victimizing, or abusing any individual or group.
The question is: Why is it that rather than explaining or defending your position you run from dissent by either pulling blogs, deleting comments or trying to have members banned?
Only one member need respond.

Andrew (Guvnor) said, would you do me the honour of consenting to be my submissive and when I return, of formally accepting, before witnesses, my collar?
Nan (dayoffslave) said, I would like that very much.

I am so happy.

The darkest hour

People say the darkest hour is before dawn: if so, there will be a sunrise like no other.
Those of you who understand what I am talking about should know one thing, I am not about to cut and run.
Your kind thoughts are a great support to Nan (dayoffslave) and I, for which I thank you.
You all go and enjoy the weekend, perhaps if you have a moment think of her.
Guvnor.

The title says it all, I am happy beyond words.
Happy to see, to hold, to hug my dear, sweet, loveable, darling Nan.
Happy to share bad days as well as good.
Can a smile start at your toes?
Can a grin be wider than your ears?
Can every day start with so much hope?
Can we overcome the many hurdles before us?
It can. It can. It can. Together we can.

There is one thing that happens swiftly on the site at least, they didnt waste any time downgrading my membership as soon as my time was up.
Logged on shortly before midnight (Alt time) with full functionality and was browsing the Advice Lines, but as soon as the big hand caught up with the little hand, bong
profiles upgrade now, bong
editorial articles archive unavailable, bong
BDSM fundamentals invisible.
But I dont care its just 24 hours till I will be away from my desk happy happy happy me.
Have a wonderful day everybody.

In 36 hours I will be airborne out of London-Heathrow bound for the US starting a journey to spend 3 weeks visiting someone as warm, gentle and loveable as anyone could hope to know, even if she will not accept the fact.
I am sure I could fly unaided.

Fill your jar of life

Received this in my inbox it seems only fair to share it, cut it out and pass it on.
Guvnor
------------------
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full?
They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognise that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things, your family, your health, your children, your friends and your favourite passions, things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full."
"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical check-ups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house, and fix the disposal. "
"Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand." The professor concluded.
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of beers."
