This is a term I have seen more than a few times. Its from "doms" (lower case) upset because the subs actually want to "get to know them first".
I know we live in a society of RIGHT HERE ,RIGHT NOW but, goodness !! It seems to have gotten to the point where if a sub does not give in within five mins...they are off to the next one.
There have been times when I have advised a newbie to go slowly. I had been branded a "cock blocker" for that...which makes me laugh haha
A bdsm relationship, whatever your kink, is one that is very involved and very intimate. Takes much time and effort. If one is not willing to put forth the effort, that one should be dropped immediately.
The best things are always worth waiting for

I go to these chat rooms to converse (not conversate !!), make friends and generally be social. Sometimes I can get in and join the subject. Sometimes I seem to be invisible and just go somewhere else.
What I did not realize is, there are those who notice my coming and going. And actually like to see me there whether I join in or not.
So, when I am trying to meet and greet its not so successful. Yet, when I just chill out, then things seem to work out better.
I have given up trying to figure people out. I just will live day to day, be myself and that apparently is enough....because I always feel like, somebody's watching me...." lol

No, not that silly show where they catch people skipping out on each other.
I mean in the context of those who feel no shame in breaking protocols, handing out collars after a day or two, giving their submission to those they have never met.
This lifestyle is simply not like any vanilla relationship. It requires much more trust and devotion to the partner. And that requires a significant amount of time. You have to really know someone before you let them tie you down and whip you or allow them to lock you in some cage in a basement.
But, of course its more than that. It is a true "soul mate" type of thing. A Dom must be able to read minds because many times the sub is unable to speak or make their feeling heard for a variety of reasons. To care for His/Her sub, to really know what his/her needs are and know how to deal with them.
You can't simply grab a leash and "boom" you have a trained slave...as happened to a friend of mine. You have to train and put in the time and work to make it happen. It requires research, patience and so many other things.
To cheat the process shortchanges both in the experience and can get someone hurt. To take what someone else has built from scratch is not acceptable.
But unfortunately , like that silly t.v. program, people get so much praise and attention for cheating and doing wrong, why do right ???

I go to these rooms to chat,socialize etc..and I see they people, mostly guys DEMANDING some Domme take them and do things to them. And on the other hand, I see so called doms literally begging sub women to chat privately.
Since when did subs demand and Doms beg ?? These people obviously have no clue what they are doing. Most likely only here for sex.
If you know anything about BDSM you know sex is such a given that it doesn't really matter so much. It is about the mentally taking yourself to a headspace,or someone taking you there. It is about following orders. And many more things. And first and foremost it's about Trust.
So, ask yourself before you make your first step " Who am I? , What am I?" If you're real then this is the place. If you are just pretending, you will waste a lot of people's time here !

Sounds kinda corny but, I have to give love to those on my list, the bestest list in the world !! 
I hoped to create a very eclectic list of interesting people with interesting thoughts on life and lifestyles and I think I have.
I always say that friendship is underrated and it is very special to me. I don't add just anyone who asks. Each person is there for a particular reason and they have earned that spot !
