It's been quite warm here lately and i have to admit that i don't do as well in the heat as others do.
Spent the last few months working, rehersing all that fun stuff for a play at our local fringe festival. The venue that we are in is fantasic... but it doesn't have a/c. I do not think that i have been so sweaty my entire life. Stage lights will do that I guess...
Did have a humiliating moment yesterday though... Walking aroung the Fringe grounds trying to pass out handbills in a dress with nothing underneath...and it was windy.
I don't think I need to say more...but why does stuff like this always seem to happen to me?

White Achievement Awards

We are now in the awards season. I can say that I haven't watched the oscars in years...for shame. I did see a commercial for The NAACP awards, and drove past a billboard for Latin achievement awards in my city. I have also seen African achievement awards and Native achievement awards.
Do I have a problem with this? Not at all. Achievement is a great thing and should be rewarded.
If I wanted to have an award for White Achievement would you call me a racist?

Not gonna be here for a little bit. Birthday present this year included a trip to the hospital for me and almost losing my dad to a heart attack.
Sometimes things happen. Some things need to be dealt with. Some things don't. I need to deal with things.

I'm just curious if sites like this have helped people realize that they are ok with who they are. I'd always known that i was submissive. Figured that one out pretty young. My problem was finding people who could accept that about me.
I see a number younger people on this site that seem to be in positions (pun most definatly intended) that i wish i would have been in at that age. The internet was a fairly new thing. I was pretty cool with my 14.4 modem. The fastest of my friends who were lucky enough to be able to go online.
What was out there for porn was still not that accessable if you didn't know where to look. Finding other people with similar interests was a little easier, but it was still just like moving from Jr to Sr high.
Without the internet I think the only places where you could find like minded people in my city was at a toy shop in the "gay" district. I may be wrong, but i couldn't find anything.
So years later...fast forward to a girl that has met some wonderful people who understand her and her needs. Who knows there are many other people who share those needs and has started to live the life she always wanted to.
Thank you internet. I was reading an article about how internet porn has changed how people view sex and the kinky is becomming more common in the common bedroom whether we want it or not. Anal sex is on the rise people...lol
I envy those of you who were able to find what you needed before the internet was in every home. I also envy those of you that are still young and know that they are ok the way they are and don't have to be as confused as i was...lol. I am glad that I have found places where i can be accepted...and this is one of them... Thanks
