Violently once asked:

“Submission is on your terms or mine ?”

Which is an interesting point to consider.

Bodski once wrote:

“The difference between bottoming and submission is not whatever you want it to be”

Which is the sort of shit I spout from time to time.

Are You A Jedi ? Jun 7, 2006 4:44 pm

For those in the UK, a census was taken in 2001, I am not sure if others are taken in all countries but I do know that they are taken outside of the UK.

One of the questions was: what is your religion ?

At the time there was much hype about this question because if enough people answered a religion that was not already acknowledged then this new religion would be officially recognised. e-mails circulated, rodio shows and TV shows discussed it and the idea was to answer the question JEDI.

If enouhg people did it then it would be an official religion. If it was an official religion and you had described yourself as a Jedi, then you were - officially.

I did it, I'm trying to find out how many other people did but whenever I look at the statistics information, the page seems to freeze.

Oh well, patience I must show. Be a Jedi overnight will I not.

Polyamory and D/s May 25, 2006 2:20 pm

There are a number of polyamorous Dom/mes within the blogs but I haven't noticed so many poly subs.

Is this simply a supply / demand situation or is there something more deep rooted ? Or am I simply making a nonsense observation ?

Why Bites Are Best May 20, 2006 4:32 am

A number of Dominants recently answered what is their favourite toy. I didn’t take part at the time. I won’t deny that toys are fun, great fun in fact. Last weekend for example I took delivery of two floggers. One was a small rope flogger, much more sensual than painful (great fun for hitting really hard with - it doesn’t really hurt). The second was suede, somewhat more stingy, but still quite sensual used the right way (great fun for hitting hard with - it does really hurt ! ).

I recall in the past that a number of Dominants commented that their favourite toy was their brain. This to me is the only real answer. It is with my mind that I can understand what truly excites you, scares you, makes you tick, etc.

In terms of a favourite toy to administer pain, then mine would have to be my teeth. There are many ways to use your teeth. You can gently run them across your partner’s skin whilst kissing her body or face, or softly close them over a large area of skin to give the sensation of a light pinch or gently pull on a quivering bottom lip during a kiss..... many ways indeed.

The gentleness (or viciousness) of a bite is not determined simply by how hard the teeth are pressed together, in fact, exactly where the teeth are placed on a sub’s body has much more to do with how much and what type of pain is involved. The great fun is finding how each type of bite is received by her and in particular where bites are most effective.

There is a huge difference in sensation between a large snarling chew on a shoulder or back and a tiny nip around the inner thigh or tricep area and or course, as everyone is different, what one partner hates, the next may enjoy.

The bruises left by bites are not the marks of a flogger or whip, however well crafted, they are an imprint of your own teeth.

That is why bites are best.

Poly May 4, 2006 9:59 am

Found on LiveJournal:

"Polyamory is to relationships what UNIX is to operating systems; infinitely configurable, poorly documented, and not for everyone."

(actually, I found it in a ' blog).

I like to take ownership of such things and explain what they mean to me, so here goes.....

I suppose that I should start by saying that it isn't necessarily always going to apply. I still hold out hope of meeting 'the one', falling in love and living happily every after. That said, maybe there will always be a poly element ?

What polyamory is not is probably a good place to start. It is not sleeping around, cheating on your primary partner, etc.

What polyamory is is somewhat confusing as the above (geeky) definition highlights. What it is for me is as follows:

1. Being able to manage more than one relationship.

2. Being open about the fact that I may from time to time have more than one relationship.

3. Allowing / encouraging my partner(s) to have multiple relationships.

4. Not prioritising one relationship over another.

5. Seeing relationships as just that, relationships, not a series of one night stands (although I do nto rule out the possibility of a one night stand in the right circumstance).

It really isn't for everyone. It requires a huge amount of openness from both parties. Consider how difficult it is to manage one relationship and then multiply it by the number of poly partners you may have and then factor in the fact that poly is not for everyone so there will undoubtably be further confusion.

That's all for now folks....

Is it bad,

to look inside your head

see how things are.

Put new things there,

things to play with.

Fear is a strange sensation…… is it optional ?
