Her hands shook with excitement as she tore open the hand-addressed envelope postmarked "Sparks, Nevada".
"Dear Joanie", it began, "While your request is highly unusual, quite frankly, I think it would be a lot of fun for all involved. Your desires seem sincere and are in keeping with our own objectives; namely, the satisfaction of our clients and the happiness of our girls. While yours is the first genuine request to work at the Cactus Ranch as a fantasy vacation, I agree with you that a lot of girls proabably fantasize about such things but unlike you, lack the guts to turn their fantasies into reality.
Our high season is, like all resorts, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If you can make it out here by mid May, we could have you set up with a physical and our two-week intensive training by the holiday weekend. We will provide these, as well as meals and accommodations, in exchage for your committment to work full-time for a minimum of two months.
As your letter indicated, I am sure you are aware that it is not all fun and games at the Cactus Ranch. Our girls work hard, and pleasing the clients is always our first priority, whether or not the client pleases us. While we do our best to avoid any harm coming to our girls, there is no guarantee that you will like the clients you serve, or that they will be pleaant in appearance or demeanor. That is not important. Once you make this committment, you must please any and all clients who desire your services, and do so willingly and in a manner which upholds our reputation. Part of your job is as an actress..."
The letter went on for about two more pages, and there were forms for a complete physical and some pretty specific instructions about birth control and AIDS and VD prevention. Joanie smiled at the thought of finally fulfilling her deepest fantasy. She was going to be a whore for the summer.
