You have hit the nail on the head. I also have found that people
just don't listen enough to their partner(s) to really
hear what they are saying or asking. There is allot of "fine
whatever" going on and no time to sit and work it out.
This is very good advice for any relationship. Thanks for
voicing what is important.

This is really excellent, thanks! Structure for discussion,
especially discussion where there is conflict, is enormously
helpful for me. Checking for communication skills (can
he fight fair) is now pretty much at the top of my list! An
insightful and entertaining article. :)

Communication is always the key. It is something we all
have trouble with from time to time in a relationship. This
is exactly what this site needs more of. More talk on what
work needs to be done in a relationship.
